For primary information about "Function and Condition Time", refer to:
Flight Logging
First Officers on multi-crew aircraft may want to record SIC time when PNF/PM (Pilot Non-Flying / Pilot Monitoring) and log PICUS time when PF (Pilot Flying). You can configure CrewLounge PILOTLOG to automatically load SIC or PICUS time, as follows:
Flight Config
On the Flight Configuration page, enable the SIC and PICUS fields. Autoload will not work when these fields are hidden.
Airline Interface
If you import your flights through the airline interface or EFB import function, you must select "LOG HOURS AS: PICUS when PF" on the Settings - Airline page.
This setting will only apply to new aircraft registrations that are not yet in your database!
Tables - Aircraft list
On the Tables - Aircraft list, edit the aircraft properties and select "AUTO LOAD FUNCTION TIME: PICUS when PF".
You must do that for all aircraft on which you act as First Officer.
You may want to use the mass-edit function on the desktop to set this property for all aircraft in your database with a single click. Read more about mass-edit in the following online solution:
How to mass-edit / mass-delete records
Backwards updating
The above settings will only apply to new entries in your database, or when you edit/update a record.
Use the mass-edit function on the desktop app to update flight records that are already in your database.
- On the Query page, build a new advanced myQuery having "Task = PF"
- Run the myQuery and mass-select the records
- On the mass-edit screen, you can select "Transfer Time from SIC to PICUS". Or you can do this in two steps, first "Set Time SIC = 0" and then again "Set Time PICUS = Total Time"
