How to download your flights | PILOTLOG

Modified on Wed, 14 May at 6:43 AM

CrewLounge AERO connects with more than 140 different Crew Management Systems and more than 600 airline companies!  We import flight data from PDF/CSV roster files, EFB apps, Journey Logs (Voyage Reports), Onboard ACARS, and several other systems!

Visit our website (here) for the list of supported airlines for your PILOTLOG app.

What data is imported?

CrewLounge PILOTLOG is a logbook application.  As such, it will only import flights, simulator and duty time (flight duty periods) from your roster.  Whereas CrewLounge CONNECT imports all events, including classroom meetings, ground duties and your off-days.

Flights downloaded through the CrewLounge CONNECT app will also appear in CrewLounge PILOTLOG, and opposite, unless you turn-off event sharing.

How does this work?

Depending on the system used by your company, the interface works online (web login), offline (file import), via email or a combination of these:

Online Interface

Step 1: Select Airline as in screenshot below:

Step 2: In the ‘Roster Download’ section of your app, you can click on ‘Import Roster’. This opens the next page that connects to your crew portal

Step 3: Enter the URL of your airline’s login portal at the top of the screen.

Step 4: Open your roster page, making sure to click on the 'My Schedule' icon on the left side , and click the star icon next to the URL of your airline. This bookmarks the page, allowing you to avoid entering the URL and logging in every time you want to import a new schedule.

Step 5: On the top toolbar you will see the word ‘capture’ in green, which you can click to import your roster into CrewLounge.

File Interface

  • You must manually download your roster from the company crew web portal.
  • Share the file with the CrewLounge PILOTLOG mobile app, web app

or upload the file to My CrewLounge (our web portal), here: My CrewLounge - Upload my roster
More on how to go about this here.

Via Email

  • If you receive your flight data (e.g., Journey Log) via email, you can simply forward the email to a dedicated CrewLounge inbox. For more details, see this article under the section "How to import PilotApp EFB".

The events on your roster are parsed, and then synchronized to all devices that you use with CrewLounge AERO.

For some airlines, we offer a combination of both.  Use the online interface to download your planned roster, and use the file interface to import historical data.
