Pilots and Cabin Crew at TUI Airlines (Belgium, France, Germany, Poland, Scandinavia, The Netherlands, United Kingdom) can import flight data as follows:
Planned Roster
- TUI Smile: import your planned roster straight from the company crew portal
This solution is more convenient for the calendar roster app CrewLounge CONNECT and is also available to cabin crew.
Select the TUI Smile interface for your company from the mobile app Settings - Airline Interface page in your CrewLounge AERO app.
Historical Data
- TUI Smile: import your historical rosters straight from the company crew portal
Select the TUI Smile interface for your company from the mobile app Settings - Airline Interface page in your CrewLounge AERO app.
Hours on your IDPS roster are updated with actual times, with a delay of approximately two weeks. So you need to wait some time before importing your historical data with the TUI Smile interface. The data is limited, it does not have aircraft registration, PF/PM or takeoff/landing hours.
- TUI OFP: import your "DailySummary" and/or "Logbook" from the company iPad (pilots only)
Pilots can import the Logbook (JSON) and/or the DailySummary (PDF) from the TUI OFP app to the CrewLounge PILOTLOG logbook app. Read further.
For pilots, the recommend way to go is:
- download your planned roster with the TUI Smile interface in the CrewLounge CONNECT app
- after every flight, import your Logbook (JSON) with the TUI OFP interface in the CrewLounge PILOTLOG app
When you download your roster with CrewLounge CONNECT, the events will also show up in your CrewLounge PILOTLOG logbook. You can turn-off Event Sharing in My CrewLounge - Roster - Airline Interface (here).
How to import from TUI OFP?
You can install CrewLounge PILOTLOG on the company iPad, or you can use your personal device (iOS, Android, Windows, Mac).
Proceed as follows:
1- configure your CrewLounge PILOTLOG app
2- export the data from the TUI OFP app
3- import the file with CrewLounge PILOTLOG
How to configure PILOTLOG?
Open the CrewLounge PILOTLOG app:
1) on the Settings - Airline page, select the new interface TUI OFP for your company
- fill-out the different settings that come with this interface
2) on the same page in the Import Events section, make sure that Historical Data is turned-On for FLIGHTS
- if you run CrewLounge PILOTLOG on multiple devices (iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, PC) then verify the settings on ALL your devices (just to make sure that everything got synched)
- this interface cannot generate a DUTY around the FLIGHT as the data is received and processed flight-by-flight. If you record Duties in CrewLounge PILOTLOG, you must manually create the DUTY on the Duty page.
3) on the Pilot List page, edit pilot SELF and insert your company 3-letter code as Employee ID
- omitting this step may result in your name and Pilot SELF both being listed on the same flight. Continue with this article (read here) to clean-up your logs.
4) on the Settings - Flight Logging page, select AUTO LOAD TASK = "from Airline interface / EFB"
- this setting allows to retrieve PF/PM (Landing Pilot) from the Logbook (JSON) and calculate Takeoff-Landing accordingly

How to export data from TUI OFP?
CrewLounge PILOTLOG can import the Logbook (JSON) and the DailySummary (PDF).
The DailySummary (PDF) contains planned FLIGHT + DUTY data for the day, and includes the entire Crew List. You would import this document if you like to record the Crew List or the Duty Hours.
The Logbook (JSON) function provides actual FLIGHT data per single flight sector. The Crew List consists of pilots only. This file does not have DUTY data, only FLIGHT data.
If you decide to import both files, you should import DailySummary (PDF) first!
Logbook (JSON)
To import the Logbook (JSON) from the TUI OFP app, proceed as follows:
- Tap the Logbook item from the EXPORT pop-up menu
- Choose any of the methods (share, email, airdrop, download) - read below "How to import the data file"
If you can no longer find a flight in your TUI OFP app, you can still download historical flight data from the Crew Flight Archive web portal, as follows:
- Login to the TUI Crew Flight Archive web portal (here: portal.crew.aviation.tui )
- Download the PDF file for your flight(s)
- Continue below "How to import the data file"
DailySummary (PDF)
To import the DailySummary (PDF), tap the document icon in the right upper corner. Choose any of the 3 import methods (see further).
Notes:
The DailySummary (PDF) contains data for all flights that are displayed in the active window of the TUI OFP app. Delete (archive) any flights which you do not want to be included, prior to generating the document.
CrewLounge PILOTLOG will build a Duty event around all flights of the DailySummary (PDF), given that Historical Duty is turned On in the Import Events section of the Settings - Airline page in your CrewLounge PILOTLOG app. (see above "how to configure")
How to import the data file?
You can import your EFB data in 3 different ways!
All methods require internet access. You cannot share your data with CrewLounge PILOTLOG offline. Batch import (multiple files at a time) is not possible, you must share or email the files one-by-one.
