How to download your flights | PILOTLOG

Modified on Thu, 8 May at 12:11 PM

CrewLounge AERO connects with more than 140 different Crew Management Systems and more than 600 airline companies!  We import flight data from PDF/CSV roster files, EFB apps, Journey Logs (Voyage Reports), Onboard ACARS, and several other systems!

Which data is imported?

CrewLounge PILOTLOG is a logbook application.
As such, it will only import flights, simulator and duty time (flight duty periods) from your roster.
Whereas CrewLounge CONNECT imports all events, including classroom meetings, ground duties and your off-days.

Flights downloaded through the CrewLounge CONNECT app will also appear in CrewLounge PILOTLOG, and opposite, unless you turn-off event sharing.

How does this work?

Depending on the system used by your company, the interface works online (web login), offline (file import), via email or a combination of these. The app will show only the relevant sections based on what is supported.

1. Online Interface

  • Go to the Settings - Airline page in the mobile app:
    • select your airline and select your preferences for import (you only need to do this once)
  • Click on ‘Import Roster’. This opens the page that connects to your crew portal
    • The first time you'll need to enter the URL of your airline’s login portal at the top of the screen, then proceed to your Roster page, making sure to click on the 'My Schedule' icon on the left side,
    • Then click the star icon next to the URL of your airline.
This bookmarks the page, allowing you to avoid entering the URL and logging in every time you want to import a new schedule.
  • On the top toolbar you will see the word ‘capture’ in green, which you can click to import your roster into CrewLounge.

2. File Interface - through the mobile app

  • Download your roster from the company crew web portal.
  • Go to the Settings - Airline page in the mobile app:
    • select your airline and select your preferences for import (you only need to do this once)
  • Under "Roster Import", click on "Browse file" and share the file you downloaded earlier.

3. File Interface - through My CrewLounge

  • Download your roster from the company crew web portal.
  • Log on to My CrewLounge and navigate to Roster/Roster Upload.
Or use the direct link: My CrewLounge - Upload my roster

4. Via Email

  • For several airlines we offer the possibility to forward received emails with flightdata to a dedicated CrewLounge email inbox. Please have a look in the Airline EFB folder for more information to find out if this is applicable for you.

The events on your roster are parsed, and then synchronized to all devices that you use with CrewLounge AERO.

For some airlines, we offer a combination of both the online and offline methods.
Use the online interface to download your planned roster, and the file interface to import historical data.
