Mac OS | Application does not launch (Admin Account)

Modified on Sat, 04 Dec 2021 at 11:06 AM

Installing the desktop application on Mac OS X requires Admin User Rights.

Some pilot reported they could not launch the application. When PILOTLOG is clicked, the screen looks like this:

Investigation revealed that the application was installed with Standard User Rights, whereas installation with Admin User Rights is needed!

How to fix

Perform the following steps to change the user account for PILOTLOG from Standard to Admin :

1. On the Mac, choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, click Users & Groups

2. Under Current User, you should be logged as Admin. If not, enable "Allow user to administer this computer" in Login Options.
