"A Picture is worth a 1,000 Words"... absolutely true ! Therefore, whenever you encounter trouble with the application, you may want to add a screenshot in your message.
In case you are not familiar with grabbing a screenshot from your device, here are some guidelines to help you :
Windows PC
On Windows PC you can make a screenshot as follows :
- Open the page that you want to grab a screenshot from
- Hold-down the ALT key and then press the PRT SC key (also labelled PrtSc, PrtScn, or PrntScrn, usually somewhere in the right upper corner of the keyboard)
The image is now available on the clipboard. You can either paste the image straight in your reply-email or save the image as a file on your computer.
To paste the image inside the email :
- Reply the email and place the cursor at the desired position inside the message
- Hold-down the CTRL key and press key V
To save the image as file :
- Press the Windows-Logo key
- Open Microsoft Paint
- Paste the image in the blank area, by holding-down the CTRL key and pressing key V (or use the Clipboard Paste function from the menu bar)
- Close Paint and save the image
Mac OS
On Mac you can make a screenshot as follows :
- Open the page that you want to grab a screenshot from
- Hold-down the Shift key together with the Command key (labelled Cmd or ⌘ ) and then press key 3 (that means, all three keys together : Shift + Command + 3 )
The image is now available on the desktop, you should notice some new .PNG file with the title screenshot.
Note : the same technique can be used on a Mac with a PC keyboard.
iPhone / iPad
On your iOS device, you can make a screenshot as follows :
- Open the page that you want to grab a screenshot from
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your device
- Immediately press the Home button and release as soon as you see the screen flashing
Which basically means to press the Power button together with the Home button.
On iPad PRO there is no Home button ; use the Volume Up button instead.
Your find the screenshot in Photos > Albums > Camera Roll. Press the Share icon and then email to send the image to our SUPPORT. In case you start a blank message, make sure to mention your recent Ticket #id.
Android
On your mobile device, you can make a screenshot as follows :
- Open the page that you want to grab a screenshot from
- Press and hold the Power button
- Immediately press and release the Volume-Down (Android) - Volume-Up (Blackberry) button and release as soon as you see the screen flashing
There is a slight knack to this action: press the power button too soon and the display will switch off; press the volume-down button too soon and your screenshot may be marred by an onscreen volume slider.
Your find the screenshot in Gallery > Albums > Camera Roll. Press the Share icon and then email to send the image to our SUPPORT. In case you start a blank message, make sure to mention your recent Ticket #id.
