Events do not export to Mobile Calendar

After downloading your flight schedule through one of the many airline interfaces, you can export your roster to any external calendar, like Apple, Google, Outlook, etc.  Watch the Video Tutorial in this solution article how to export your roster from CrewLounge CONNECT :




Troubleshooting



Should the CONNECT app not export to the events to the selected calendar, do the following :


On the Download Roster page :

  • Download your flight roster another time
  • Verify the Sync Log at the bottom, it should say "Export to Calendar XYZ"
  • Continue with a) or b)



a) Sync Log does not mention "Export to Calendar XYZ"


Export is not enabled


On the Settings - Export to Calendar page of the CONNECT app :


  • Enable export and select the Calendar
  • Follow the steps as explained in the Video Tutorial




b) Sync Log does show "Export to Calendar XYZ" or "Export to Calendar XYZ failed"


Export is enabled, but fails



On the Settings - Export to Calendar page of the CONNECT app :



  • Reselect the Calendar again (even if the name of the calendar still shows, the link to the calendar may got broken)



In the Settings of your phone :


  • Make sure the selected Calendar is not read-only (image 1)
  • Verify CrewLounge CONNECT has access rights to the Calendar (image 2)
  • Consider to create a new calendar and see if that work for you (image 1)
