Flight Time Limits on Home page are different from values shown on the Limit page ?

There may be several reasons for the desktop Home page to show different results compared to Flight Time hours displayed on the desktop Limits page.


Flight and duty times on the Limits page are split as per 24 hour calendar day. A flight that departs in the evening and lands after midnight is then cut in two parts. This returns the most accurate results. The quick reference box on the Home page does not use this technique and simply refers to the flight departure date.

 

Other reasons can be Relief Time (included on the Limits page, optionally excluded on the Home page) or the select myQuery.  The Home page query is selected from the Settings – App General page.


Finally, the Limits page goes back as far as 2 years only, while the Home page runs through the entire database. Any flying beyond 24 months will show invalid on the Limits page.
