Transferring Pilot Pictures

If you want to transfer pilot pictures from another application to mccPILOTLOG, we recommend to using the mobile app.

  1. Install mccPILOTLOG on your mobile phone 
  2. Upload the Pilot list from the main desktop database to the mobile app  (*)
  3. Walk through the pilot list and select the corresponding pilot picture from your phone's Picture Gallery

From there, mccPILOTLOG will automatically synchronize the pictures to the main desktop application and further to other mobile phones and tablets.

Transferring Endorsement Signatures

If you want to transfer endorsement signatures from another application to mccPILOTLOG, you can do so on the main desktop application :

  • Image ratio is recommended 2 by 1
  • mccPILOTLOG stores only 1 signature per calendar day

1) Rename the image file into "", where YYMMDD is the Date of the Flight or Simulator and xxx is Version 3.6  JPG or BMP -  Version 4.0  JPG, BMP or PNG

       e.g.  sign.151104.jpg   for a flight or simulator on November 4th, 2015


2) Drop the image files in the following folder :


 Version 3.6  


Windows 2000-XP  


     C:\Program Files\MCC Pilotlog\Pictures\

Windows Vista-7-8-10  


     C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\MCC Pilotlog\Pictures\




Version 4.0  

 Windows Vista-7-8-10  



  • you can copy / paste this link straight in the address bar of the file explorer

Mac OS  




  • right-mouse click (or [PC keyboard] Control + left-click or [Mac Keyboard] Apple Cmd + click)
  • choose “show package contents”
  • go to “Contents/Resource/Userdata”

3) After these steps, the images will automatically show up in the main desktop application, as follows :

  • On the Logbook - Logbook Columns page, select "Endorsement Signatures" in the Remarks field and print the logbook

  • On the Flights page, edit the flight and press the loupe icon below the Sign Box, as shown here :

mccPILOTLOG does not (yet) store Aircraft images or Flight images.  This feature will be added to future updates.
