THIS SOLUTION IS ABOUT mccPILOTLOG - DO NOT USE FOR CrewLounge PILOTLOG
To attention of all Air Berlin Pilots
mccPILOTLOG retrieves Historical Data from the 'Schedule Brief' pages in AIMS. Each trip is listed on a separate page.
Although all flight data for your entire career is stored inside AIMS, you can go back for a maximum of about 5 years. The web-portal security policy is set to disconnect from AIMS after 5 minutes. It is technically not possible to download all historical flight data within that short time frame, simply because the portal itself is very slow.
AIMS has another page called 'Pilot Logbook Report'. This is a simple logbook with basic flight data. It does not show flight number, name of F/O and no scheduled block hours. But it has the aircraft registration and actual block hours.
Unfortunately, Air Berlin pilots do not have access to the 'Pilot Logbook Report' pages inside AIMS. This is a paid option in AIMS which is not available for AB crew. However, mccPILOTLOG is able to by-pass that limitation and access the logbook. You can then download more data back to 2010 (flights) and 1990 (sim).
To use this option, go to the Airline page :
- select the 'Historical Data' bullet
- insert a Start Date more than 5 years back
- press Start
mccPILOTLOG will then prompt you to choose 'Schedule Brief' or 'Pilot Logbook'.
Note : this function is available in mccPILOTLOG - Version 3.6 (Windows) - EXE383 - Build Date 18 OCT 2017 or later. Verify the About page for the Build Date. To obtain this update, press the Re-Install Last Update button on the Tools - Helpdesk page. If you run mccPILOTLOG - Version 4.0 (Mac OS), contact the Helpdesk for assistance.
On behalf of the entire mccPILOTLOG Team, we wish you all the best in this turbulent period !
